Цифровая эталонная последовательность ИКМ - это набор возможных кодов последовательности ИКМ, которая при декодировании с помощью идеального декодера создает аналоговый синусоидальный сигнал на эталонной частоте (т.е. 1020 Гц) на уровне 0 дБмо. И наоборот, аналоговый синусоидальный сигнал в 0 дБмо на эталонной частоте, примененный на входе идеального кодера, создаст цифровую эталонную последовательность ИКМ (МСЭ-Т P.10/ G.100).
